John and I first met at a business networking meeting, but I was in another relationship at the time. Two years later, we saw each other again at Landmark Education and we were both in Leadership Programs that revolved around being transformation. One of the people in the class created a singles book club where we read a book on finding your soul mate. We went through it one chapter at a time. John and I were partners in the group. At the time, John said he wanted to go out with 21 different flavors of women. I said well you better get it out of your system because once you get to me, I am all of the 21 flavors. In the class, we got a chance to define what we really wanted in a relationship and at first it started out as defining all of the things that we wanted in another person. I eventually threw that idea out the window and said I wanted a soul mate that enhanced every area of my life and I wanted to do the same for him. Soon afterwards, John asked me out on our first date which was on Valentine’s Day, which as 6 years ago and we have been together ever since. This Valentine’s Day we are getting married. For me, it has been the easiest relationship I have ever been in. It feels like Valentines Day every day and that is how I know John is the perfect one for me.
